This article provides an overview of the EstateSales.NET app for Android users.
Our app requires Android 10 and up. You can download the latest version of the app here:
Navigating the App
When opening the app on an Android, sales will be displayed in either Map View or List View, depending on the last-used setting.
Map View
The Map View can be accessed from the menu in the upper left-hand corner of the app screen. Sales appear as colored pins on the map:
- Green: Favorited sale
- Blue: Sale happening today
- Red: Sale happening tomorrow
- Grey: Future sale
Selecting a pin displays sale details at the bottom of the screen. Clicking this information box takes the user directly to the sale listing.
List View
Users can access settings from the menu in the upper left-hand corner of the app screen.
In the List View, users can see:
- Sale title
- Hosting company or private listing indicator
- Sale dates and times
- Address (if public) or city location
- Distance from search location
- Sale type icon (tag sale, auction, etc.). A highlighted icon indicates a featured sale.
Sale Details
Selecting a sale from either Map View or List View will display:
- Sale title
- Sale type (e.g., estate sale, auction)
- Sale dates and times
- Address (if public) or city and state (if private). Clicking the right-hand arrow opens a map.
- Description, terms, and directions
- Hosting company or person with contact information and terms & conditions
- Sale photos
Settings
Access the Settings from the menu in the upper left-hand corner. Users can adjust:
Search Options
- My Location: Uses device location (requires location services enabled)
- Postal Code: Search by specific zip code
- Distance Filter: Up to 100 miles
- Future Sales Tab: Display sales up to 14 days ahead
Sale Filtering Options
Toggle specific sale types on or off.
Mapping Options
- Apple Maps
- Google Maps
- Waze Maps

- Feedback: Report bugs, suggest features, or provide device details for troubleshooting
Android vs. iOS Differences
Currently, updates are focused on the iOS app, with Android updates planned for the future. Key differences include:
- Android users must use the menu (three horizontal lines in the top-left) to switch between Map View, List View, and Settings.
- Android users cannot favorite items within the app.
- Android users cannot log in or sync favorites with their website account.
- On iOS, favorite pictures and sales are stored in a dedicated tab.
