You can provide refunds to buyers in either a partial or full amount for a completed sale on the Marketplace. Be sure to have the Order Id handy. Once issued, a refund cannot be canceled. Some refunds—those issued shortly after the original charge—appear in the form of a reversal instead of a refund. In the case of a reversal, the original charge drops off the customer’s statement, and a separate credit is not issued.
To refund a Marketplace Order:
- Log into your account.
- Click View Orders and search for your order.
- On the item card, click Order Details.
- Click Refund Order.
- Choose the refund type, leave notes for yourself, and message the buyer, if necessary.
- Click Refund Order.
