Listing Your First Marketplace Sale

Sale Info

Start your Marketplace sale by providing basic sale info

1. Click Sales
2. Click Add Marketplace Sale
3. Enter sale details: Provide the title, address, zip code, and contact phone number.
4. Set sale dates: Sales can be listed for up to six weeks.
5. Choose the sale type: You can list an online-only auction with bidding, or an online estate sale with firm pricing.
6. Create Sale Terms & Conditions: Establish terms and conditions that can be set as the default for all sales.
7. Additional Options: Choose to describe the overall sale, or upload a thumbnail that will appear on the city page if the sale has 20 or more items.
8. Click Save & Continue

Add Items

After adding sale info, items can be added. You can also add Dynamic Pricing Templates from the List of Items for Sale page.

1. Upload photos: You can add up to 50 photos per item. The photo in the first position with be the item's feature picture. The order of the photos are the same order in which they will appear in the photo carousel.
2. Create the Item Name
3. Add the item description: This step is optional, however, we recommend offering as much detail as possible including the item's condition and measurements.
4. Select Delivery Options: Choosing Offer Local Pickup will add field to include Pickup Details that will be displayed on the item page. If the details are the same for all of your items, you can select Apply to all existing items.
5. Set the ending time: The time chosen is the specific item, and not the entire sale.
6. Enter the item price
7. Add the item categories: Choose a category and add more, if needed.
8. Add other options: Choose to also include Item Terms & Conditions, which can be applied to all existing items. You can also add tags and an item FAQ.
9. Click Save or Save & Add Another
10. Click Review & Publish: Move on to publish your sale once you have added items.

Review & Publish

Once all items are added, review and publish your sale.

1. Resolve any issues or prompts: Complete any missing information to complete the sale.
2. Click Publish
3. Review and share to social media: View your sale as it appears on the site and share it on other social platforms.
